I opened my Advent Calendar this morning in the beautiful town of New Bern, NC where the temperature was close to 80 degrees, warm and beautiful, eating lunch at a beautiful restaurant on the water, Persimmons, before returning home to watch the late breaker touch down at the BAC stadium in Charlotte – in time to hear two family members shout – Go Panthers! (I think they got drenched in the rain) but oh, I think Charlotte is in full celebration tonight and unusual Christmas celebration but I do hope they remember it’s Advent? oops 😉
