Week Thirty-Three

Therapy: Sunday Mornings, PJs, Hot Coffee

I luv no pressure Sunday mornings sitting in my PJs, sipping on hot coffee, visiting with friends, self-development gurus through my laptop and watching Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday, Breathing Space, etc.  I like this time even more when it is dark and rainy outside (today). It reminds me of my childhood days in England, sitting/napping in my cozy, living room chair waiting for my mum and dad to come home from work.  Some of my favorite therapeutic words of the week that remind me to follow my muse follow:

1)      Elizabeth’s LeConey’s words “Photos have the ability to evoke a range of emotions. In January of this year, I had the privilege to photograph an adorable couple celebrating 50 years of marriage. Today, I’m editing those pictures to be included in an obituary because the wife just passed away. What a somber moment. I know I say it all the time, but take pictures of your loved ones often. You will be thankful one day for those preserved memories.” http://bit.ly/Pp4Lif

2)      Jill Bolte-Taylor’s words, “attitude is gratitude” after she told her story about how a blood vessel exploded in her brain causing a massive stroke. http://bit.ly/91LkAe

3)      Ryan Brooks’ words, Being in Rhythm: “rhythm is all around us; listen for the rhythm; elimination enhances concentration; pursue the present (yesterday and tomorrow are always today’s worst enemies.”)   http://bit.ly/NUKDnI

4)      Oprah’s many words: http://www.oprah.com

5)       â€œFor every action there is a reaction”

6)      “For every thought I put into the world, it will come back to me”

7)      “It doesn’t matter where you sit on the Forbes list or how beautiful you are.” Your status and your outward beauty won’t last, your breast will droop, and your eyes will sag. What matters most is what you bring to the world, your self-expression of your work, your authentic power.”

8)      “It will all become clear to us as we take out last breathe.”

9)      Ed Bacon’s words “get away from the busyness of life.”  http://bit.ly/SbUsjD

10)   Ed Bacon’s words “the false self, the ego.” http://bit.ly/NzemA2

Now for the 10 mile run 🙂
