Week Five
“SuperBowl, Daffodils and Tulips”
Tonight I am sitting watching the SuperBowl, Giants vs Patriots. I am going for the Patriots, why? because I heard about Marcus Cannon the linesman who is in remission for cancer. Football is a hard sport to understand (for me), very similar to the sport of Rugby I think. Brut force! Oooowh, how I worry about the head injuries those footballers endure (then I think of Cassius Clay/Muhamada Ali who endured severe head injuries/trauma. ) The fun thing of the Superbowl, for sure, is the Advertisments. I remember the Bud Light Platinum ad (pretty blue bottles); Pepsi ad (with Elton John); and my favorite ad for sure was David Beckenham along with all of his body artwork standing in his trunks, I cant remember what he was adverstising? it couldnt have been his body, could it? Before I move onto the half time show, Madonna, I just want to say nothing beats the symbols or signs that Spring is around the corner here in North Carolina, the daffodils and tulips are in bloom, Wunderbar! Alas!
The 10 favorite things of my week.
