When we think of puppy dogs we think of innocent little beings seeking love (similar to our children). I was listening to a Dave Ramsey (financial guru) podcast the other day while out running/walking. He said to a person calling into his radio show, “are you a puppy dog?” trying to make the point to the caller that maybe she was just following her boyfriend’s opinion to get his approval/love without using her own inner wisdom /discernment to make better choices/decisions for herself.
