Etching and sketching ~Boston is one of my favorite cities in the US and also a place to learn about US history.  This museum was a place to learn about the Boston Tea Party which took place on December 16th, 1773.  “It was a protest by the American Colonists against the British in regards to the tea taxes that had been imposed on them. This protest involved throwing chests of tea from three British trade ships into the Boston Harbor.”  It was a place to learn about how this act became significant in the independence of America.  Just across the harbor from the  museum was a great place to eat fresh seafood at the Barking Crab lively with delicious food.  After eating the delicious Boston seafood + other goodies,  I visited the Boston, Bikram Yoga studio on Boylston to burn off calories. Across the street from the yoga studio I took pics of  Trinity Church and the John Hancock building. Later I continued my walk through down town, noting the icons, of the Brownstone buildings  and a wooden yellow bench with said, “Keep running Boston, Boston Strong“, then peace symbols above churches reading, “love they (Muslim) neighbor as thyself (let there be peace in this world and let it begin with me) and finally after a long walk made it to the ionic stadium, Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox!  So fun!~ J  (week 25, 2016)
