Advent 2013 began today and after visiting a wonderful church service at New Hope Church led by Pastor Chad I drove home (checked messages/bad habit ) and then Wikipedia ‘d the word Advent which said “it is a season observed in many Western Christian Churches as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas. The term is an anglicized version of the Latin word adventus, meaning “coming”. I suppose many of us know all about Advent right? and the Advent calendars? Ahem, so, what’s the point? The point is on the first day of Advent I met this beautiful soul Snatam Kaur and her music. Not the same as our usual Christmas Carols but Oh, Oh, so beautiful. I hope you listen and experience this wonderful December 1, 2013 (24 more days to go!)
