The Christmas Angel – I love angels and as it’s Day 12 of Advent I wanted to write about one of my favorite angels, the Christmas Angel, Archangel Gabriel. Archangel means an Angel with high rank (chief) – some say there are seven Archangels with Gabriel being one of those. Gabriel’s name means “God is my strength.” Gabriel is the famous angel who told Elizabeth and Mary of the impending births of their sons, John the Baptist and Jesus of Nazareth, respectively.
Archangel Gabriel is known as the angel of revelation because God often chooses him to deliver important messages to people. If Gabriel visits you, you can be sure that God has something significant to say to you through Gabriel.
