Week One
“A life worth living is a life worth recording†Tony Robbins
I heard these words a while back at a Tony Robbins’ seminar where he motivated us to walk across hot coals of fire. I became that night an official “Fire Walker†and have my yellow Lanyard to prove it. Just like Oprah! She did it too, but after me at a different seminar (I love that woman! Beat ya girl-friend.) So this year I decided to record my 2012 on my blog. Even after a web-content expert told me blogs are for expert content (he explained a blog is where you show-off your expert advice/skills.) Sorry to disappoint you dude, I just wanna scribble stuff just like in “Julie and Juliaâ€
Like most I set New Year resolutions and goals: to lose weight, eliminate debt, continue to build my Amway and WiRan businesses, become a better stock/option trader, continue to build healthy friendships and of course always be there for my family. Not sure how I lost sight of some of those things in 2011 (definitely not my family, other stuff). Didn’t someone say when you follow your passions the money will follow? For me, those passions are my spiritual life (which includes my emotional and physical health. If you don’t put on your oxygen mask first then you can’t take care of others, right? That would be disastrous! Isn’t our body our temple? I am talking to myself; no worries!) my businesses, my desire to write, (y’up that includes my love for poetry); and most importantly my family.
